SEMA 2012

Sema 2012 for me was full of mixed emotions. Lack of sleep and only being there for 2 days definitely didn’t allow for me to really absorb the sights and sounds that SEMA is known for. Sema is a massive event and for most people even being there all four days don’t usually get to see everything. The FRS’s and the Brz’s took best of show and remind me again that the gencoupe really doesn’t get the aftermarket love it deserves and desperately needs. I guess it really made me jealous almost to the point of wanting one since i’d say a good 35% of the booths that actually had cars in them had a sick brz or frs as a feature car LOL. Sorry for a few fuzzy pics, I didn’t realize that one of my lenses went bad.

GCTuner Feature: Laura’s 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T

Ever since Stevie’s submission of her pics with the gctuner shirt she modified went live on the site, we’ve been getting more requests for female GC owners who were willing to not only show off their ride but show off what they got as well. This is another amazing feature staring the beautiful Laura. Once again we only had a large shirt in stock but that didn’t set her back. She decided to show off her creative side and make/design a dress out of it! All we can say is Laura doesn’t disappoint! She’s definitely a head turner and with her new GCTuner swag, she’ll leave those Texas boys drolling in the parking lot at every meet.

Her weapon of choice: 2012 Genesis Coupe 2.0T which is modded with Injen intercooler piping, injen intake, blacked out tails, painted headlights, sarona carbon fiber grill and a custom exhaust.

A couple months ago we sent Stevie a tshirt for being such a loyal customer to GCTuner and she sent us a few pics asking us to feature her on the site. How can we say no when get pictures like this? Not many females out there are into the modifying their cars and the few that do aren’t exactly visually appealing. Stevie obviously is an exemption to the rule! Not only is the builder good looking but so is the car. Modifications are tastefully done and it’s also got the power to match! (enough to have the torque converter fail) So if a Mirabeau blue leaves you in the dust, just know you got taken out by GCTuner’s finest!

2012 ExtremeAutoFest Anaheim Event Coverage

ExtremeAutoFest was a great event with a variety of cars! You had everything from classics, tuners, dub, low riders, motorcycles all wrapped into one event. They had live performances on stage, celebrities, drifting competition, low rider competition..definitely one of the more exciting shows of the year!
